There are many options for perinatal education in our community—but what makes VDC different is who we are. We are practicing doulas and perinatal professionals actively supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum every day. Our teaching is grounded in real-life experience, not just curriculum.

Car Seat Installation & Safety Checks
Did you know that over half of all car seats are installed incorrectly? At Vermont Doula Company, we’re here to change that. Mary Kate, a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST), offers car seat checks that go far beyond installation. These sessions are full education opportunities—whether you’re preparing for your newborn’s first ride home, adjusting a toddler’s seat, or moving into booster stage.
We’ll walk you through proper installation, harness fit, and everyday use so you feel confident and safe every time your child is in the car.
