Vermont Doula Company recognized how important it is for parents to connect with other parents - especially during pregnancy and the early postpartum period. See below for ways Vermont Doula Company can help you find your new parent best friends!

Our daily drop-in is an opportunity to be in community with other parents. Drop in's are M-F at different times each day so if you miss one or the time doesn't work, you can still come to others. Even if you come on a day when no other parents are here, either a doula from Vermont Doula Company or a therapist from Littlefield Counseling who specializes in perinatal mental health, children, and families will be there to support you. You can also bring your big kid(s) so there is no need to find childcare if they are home with you. We also have a play space, a perinatal library, snacks, refreshments, and free parking! All are welcome, come as you are.

Are you a new dad? Looking for some peers going through the same transition in life? Interested in learning strategies for soothing babies, supporting partners, addressing our own mental health needs, and parenting through an antiracist lens? Well, look no further.

Starting next month Dad Guild is launching a six-month cohort for new dads in collaboration with VDC. On the third Tuesday evening each month from 7-9pm, we’ll meet up in person to connect, share how we’re experiencing parenthood, and dive a bit deeper into a variety of topics.

This new program is provided at no cost to participants, but registration is required. Visit dadguild.org for information on how to register.
