Vermont Perinatal Professionals Retreat

Caring for the Caregiver

Created & Hosted by Vermont Doula Company & in partnership with Vermont Birth Network

Space to receive. Time to connect. Room to grow.

Join us for an intentionally curated retreat designed specifically for birthworkers and perinatal professionals seeking connection, restoration, inspiration, and community. Set in the beauty of Vermont during the fall season, this three-day experience blends continuing education, meaningful conversation, restorative offerings, and space to simply slow down.

Those working in perinatal professions spend so much of their lives holding space for others through transition, caregiving, emotional labor, and profound life moments. While deeply meaningful, this work can also be demanding, consuming, and difficult to sustain without support of our own.

This retreat was thoughtfully created as an opportunity to step away from the constant pace and responsibilities of daily life and gather in person with others who truly understand the realities of this work.

Throughout the weekend, we will share thoughtful conversations, professional development, nourishing meals, rest, reflection, and genuine community in a beautiful Vermont setting.

More than anything, we hope attendees leave feeling grounded, restored, inspired, supported, and held in return.

Step away from the pace of caregiving and into a space that prioritizes your nervous system, your body, and your need for true rest.

❋ Intentional Rest & Restoration

Engage in continuing education and thoughtful conversations that are practical, relevant, and grounded in the realities of perinatal work.

Why This Retreat Feels Different

This is not a large conference built around packed schedules and constant stimulation.

The retreat is intentionally intimate, creating space for slower conversations, meaningful relationships, thoughtful learning, and real connection alongside professional development opportunities.

We believe there is something uniquely powerful about gathering together in person, especially in professions centered around caring for others. In a world that increasingly prioritizes productivity and online connection, this retreat was designed to create space to pause, reconnect, reflect, and be in community with people who truly understand the realities of this work.

Living room with people sitting on sofas and chairs, a wall-mounted TV, wooden sliding glass doors leading to an outdoor balcony, and a ceiling with several recessed lights.

No Country for Mothers explores the culture wars surrounding American motherhood and why both the "girl boss" and "trad wife" labels ultimately distract us from the real issue: the lack of support for American families.
